"Nexus III" Live Video Installation Goliath Visual Space, Williamsburg NYC 2004 I have designed a real-time video software, that works like a long exposure photograph. The software only allows stabile objects in the image frame to be recorded. Objects in motion becomes blurred. As people entered the exhibition, they could see themselves as shadows on the monitor. only if they decided to stand still (in front of the monitor) an image of them would slowly fade in. And likewise, if they began to move, the image of them would slowly fade out. |
